We went on a school trip to the zoo.

Gamelan

There was an Indonesian performance in the park last weekend.

The audience were sitting on plastic mats against the mud. The Japanese
always take their shoes off to go on a mat, whatever the occasion.

This part of the park is filled with bizarre wooden constructions.
I climbed up one to get the following photo and it nearly collapsed.

After the gamelan performance I went to Yoyogi park to the Jamaican
festival. I could find no explanation for these condom-wrapped bananas.

It was a mightily sunny day which I thought was super.
This woman disagreed.
